Clients
The clients the Anderson Entrepreneurial Center has and continues to be involved with run the complete entrepreneurial lifecycle gamut including startups to current industry leaders.

STARTUP - Freeze.com

From their dorm room at St. Cloud State University in 2000, founders Rob and Ryan Weber realized how difficult it was to find quality content on the Internet and set out to develop original, quality content including wallpaper and clip art, to be distributed for free, supported mainly by advertising money. Freeze is now a global, online media company, delivering marketing solutions to over 85 million registered users and counting.

In 2000, Freeze.com won the Minnesota Collegiate Entrepreneur Award and the Great Lakes Collegiate Entrepreneur Award. Today Freeze gives back to the community by helping other young entrepreneurs through their sponsorship of the Entrepreneur Award Series.

"Being an entrepreneur is a difficult path for any young person to take. The Anderson Entrepreneurial Center helps make this path easier by helping many, including myself and my brothers who founded Freeze.com, so that early on they have an organization they can lean on for support. The Anderson Entrepreneurial Center is a wonderful organization which every entrepreneur in Central Minnesota can benefit from.”

       – Rob Weber, President, Freeze.com

GROWTH - Park Industries

Park Industries was founded in 1953 as a manufacturer and seller of concrete stone product. Over the years Park has developed into the industry leader in stone machinery manufacturing. Park takes great pride in nurturing the relationship with their customers and strongly believes customer service is the key to their success and growth.

"Since 2003 one or more of our managers has been a participant in nearly every Managers’ Forum class at the Anderson Entrepreneurial Center. The feedback we receive from participants is consistently positive. They tell us that they learn about management and business in a broad way both from the presentations and from interactions with fellow participants."

        – Tom Schlough, President, Park Industries

MATURE - Cold Spring Granite

In 1898, Cold Spring Granite Company was founded as a producer and builder of granite products. Today, Cold Spring Granite boasts five manufacturing locations and more than 30 granite quarries worldwide, and is one of the largest granite manufacturers in North America.

“From its inception, I have been an advocate for the Anderson Entrepreneurial Center’s Managers’ Forum. Through the use of case studies, the program exposes participants to a cross section of relevant issues in a challenging educational environment. A valuable side benefit of the program is the creation of a strong network among participants, university professors and local MBA practitioners.”

      – Patrick Mitchell, former President, Cold Spring Granite and AEC Board Member
